Salary OTE: Circa £40,000

Shift Pattern: 3 Days per week, 12.5 hours (days only)

Role overview 

We are looking for a Bodyshop Prepper/Painter to carry out all Bodyshop work in an efficient and safe manner, to meet the business requirements and maximise workshop utilisation and productivity.

Key Responsibilities 

Your key responsibilities as a Bodyshop Prepper/Painter will be:

• To accurately undertake the preparation and repainting of motor vehicles
• Fulfil all tasks to the customer’s complete satisfaction
• Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair
• Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with the retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines
• Carry out all repairs according to best practice procedures
• Use all paint mixing schemes and drying areas/equipment accurately for all paint repairs
• Coach and support apprentice technicians
• Attend specialised training as required

About You 

As a Bodyshop Prepper/Painter, you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:

• Good attention to Detail
• Strong experience in car preparation and painting
• Experience within the accident repair and Bodyshop industry.
• Level 3 qualification or equivalent is an advantage but not essential
