Design
The selection of alloy wheels and striking radiator grille underlines its sporty drive power. The inside is designed for comfort with the leather multifunction steering wheel, high-resolution displays and a 3-zone "Air Care Climatronic". Optional voice control to control the radio and navigation means you never have to take your eyes off the road.
Space
The front and rear seats have more legroom than previous models and there is an optional third row of seats, all of which fold to truly customise your space. With all rear seats folded the loading compartment hold 1,775 litres and for even easier loading the optional Easy Open & Close sensor controls the rear door with just a small movement of your foot.
Driving
Need a vehicle to tow your caravan or horse trailer? The new Tiguan Allspace can tow up to 2.5 tonnes and, when reversing, the optional Trailer Assist will take care of the steering to ensure the correct angle which you focus on accelerating and braking. The 4MOTION all-wheel drive makes light work of wet, icy or uneven terrain by spreading the engine's power across all four wheels are required.
Power
The new Tiguan Allspace is available with five efficient and powerful engines: the 2.0-litre turbo-diesel direct injection engines (TDI) generating 110 kW (150 PS) and 147 kW (200 PS) are coupled with a double SCR catalytic converter with double AdBlue injection. The 1.5-litre TSI with 110 kW (150 PS) and 6-speed manual gearbox (optional 7-speed DSG) has a cylinder deactivation function (ACT). The two 2.0 TSI engines are coupled to a 7-speed DSG, have an output of 140 kW (190 PS) and 180 kW (245 PS), and come with 4MOTION four-wheel drive as standard. All the engines meet the strict exhaust emission standard Euro 6d-ISC-FCM.
