The all electric Volkswagen ID.3
The wait is nearly over. The Volkswagen ID.3 will launch this September.
The all-electric ID.3 is the first of Volkswagens ID range to launch and is redefining the electric vehicle market. Those lucky individuals who have pre-booked the ID.3 1st Edition will be able to take delivery of their vehicles as early as September.
But what is all the fuss about?
Strong Performance and Fast Charging
There are three battery size options for the ID.3, 45 kWh, 58 kWh or 77 kWh. In 30 minutes, in quick charge mode with DC (direct current) with 100 kW performance, the medium battery can recharge a range of up to approximately 260 miles and with the biggest battery (77 kWh, net), you can travel up to 340 miles on full charge.
Space for More
The ID.3 is a five-door, five-seater model and the electric platform doesn't interfere with the interior space which means the wheelbase is longer and wider. The optional panoramic sunroof spans the entire width of the roof which gives the feeling of an even more spacious cabin.
Ready to Assist
The ID.3 is packed full of technology to make the driving experience as easy and as safe as possible. Lane assist uses corrective power steering if your vehicle unintentionally leaves its lane when travelling over 40mph. On long motorways journeys, the adaptive cruise control will maintain a pre-set speed while keeping a safe distance from the car in front. And with the optional IQ.LIGHT Matrix LED headlights, the Dynamic Light Assist adapts to the driving conditions without dazzling oncoming traffic.
